Daemon will do anything to get Katy back.

After the successful but disastrous raid on Mount Weather, he’s facing the impossible. Katy is gone. Taken. Everything becomes about finding her. Taking out anyone who stands in his way? Done. Burning down the whole world to save her? Gladly. Exposing his alien race to the world? With pleasure.

All Katy can do is survive.

Surrounded by enemies, the only way she can come out of this is to adapt. After all, there are sides of Daedalus that don’t seem entirely crazy, but the group’s goals are frightening and the truths they speak even more disturbing. Who are the real bad guys? Daedalus? Mankind? Or the Luxen?

Together, they can face anything.

But the most dangerous foe has been there all along, and when the truths are exposed and the lies come crumbling down, which side will Daemon and Katy be standing on?

And will they even be together?

Just by looking at the rating of the book (4,69 out of 5) you’ll immediately know that it’s a freaking good book. It came out three days ago and I didn’t waste my time. I was lost to it from the very first page and I found myself saying “oh my god” out loud too many times. It was thrilling! I could live along with Daemon and Katy! The plot was interesting from the first book but the new things Mrs. Armentrout added in this one made curse because the next book is not going to be published anytime soon! Well written and fun to read, this book fascinated me. I was persuaded that one can do incredible things in the name of love, while trying to protect important people.
A must read book! Must read series!

[Let Me Quote Friday] Lux Series

friday quotes

Well these are just from Opal. There are too many funny quotes in the series so I gathered a few of my favorites just from Opal.

[A slow, wry smile teased Daemon’s lips. “Simmer down, Kitten, before I have to get you a ball of yarn to play with.”

Annoyance flared deep inside me. “Don’t start with me, jerk-face.”]

[Dawson shifted, dropping his head into his hand. “Do you ever stop talking?”

“When I’m sleeping,” Blake replied.

“And when you’re dead,” Daemon threw back. “You’ll stop talking when you’re dead.”

Blake’s lips thinned. “Point taken.”]

[I shot him a look. “That bouncer was really big.”
His lips quirked. “Oh, Kitten, see, I try not to say bad things.”
“What?”
The grin spread. “I would say size doesn’t matter but it does. I would know.” he winked, and I let out a disgusted groan. He laughed.”]

[“I have the feeling we just made a deal with the devil, and he’s going to come back and want our first-born child or something.”

Daemon waggled his brows. “You want kids? Because you know, practice makes–“

“Shut up.” I shook my head and started walking.”]
