[Part 1] [Part 2]

♦ The last quote

I was between two quotes from the same book. Both are special to me and at this point I am going to break the rules and write them both.

The first one describes the love of my favorite couple, Maggie and Caleb through the eyes of their daughter Ava.

“I had watched my parents for what seemed like centuries. The way they existed so effortessly in each other’s world and space. They could go minutes without looking away from each other. They kissed constantly. They hugged all the time, stole touches and wrapped their fingers around the other’s wrist. I knew it was to feel their calm, to be wrapped in the little bit of bliss that their touch provided.”

The second is part of the Virtuoso marriage ceremony and I love it. I wish I could love that deeply.

“The love one feels for his significant is bigger than the ocean, deeper than any well, more powerful than any storm.”

[Book Tag] The Reading Habits Tag!

book tag

Hey guys! I am back with another tag thanks to the awesome Raven [Dreamy Addictions], the sweet Josephine [Josie’s Book Corner], the cute Emily [The Little Book Affair] and the fellow [Ultimate Fangirl] Bianca . Check out their blog because you really don’t want to miss their posts!

Let’s do this!

Do you have a certain place at home for reading?

To be honest I usually read on my (or my boyfriend’s) bed. It’s the most comfortable place because I can change positions. My waist is usually in pain so I can’t afford to make it worse. BUT I also have another certain place and that would be the bus. Yup! I am on the road all the time and reading in the bus is a way to ignore the weird people around me.

Bookmark or random piece of paper?

I have so many bookmarks and some of them are special to me because they’re kpop related and I’ve bought them as collectibles. So I mostly use the bus ticket as a bookmark. Like I said before I am always on the road.

Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/a certain amount of pages?

I stop reading when I feel like stop reading. I don’t get the question. Is it about loosing control or something like that? No, that happens the rare times I find a good book to read.

Do you eat or drink while reading?

If the book is not physical then I do both. Lately I’ve been reading ARCs so I use my tablet. I am a foodie so I can’t resist.

Multitasking: Music or TV while reading?

Nope, no multitasking. It’s not a talent of mine to multitask in general.

One book at a time or several at once?

Usually is just one book. I am a very strict and organized person and getting out of my program, plan and lists it’s killing me.

Reading at home or everywhere?

I prefer at home but I’m forced to also read on the bus.

Reading out loud or silently in your head?

I have never considered reading out loud, wow. I wouldn’t do it but it hadn’t cross my mind at all.

Do you read ahead or even skip pages?
I do skip pages and they’re mostly sex scenes. I am not into erotica but if I like the book and I want to read it then I skip the sex scenes, especially if they are 65% of the book. I can’t deal with them and I find them unnecessary.

Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?

Hahahahaha! Stupid question and I don’t even have to answer.

Do you write in your books?

No, I have a notebook and I keep all my reviewing notes there. Why ruin the book?

[Book Tag] 3 days, 3 quotes challenge PART 2

Ι was nominated by sweet Giselle [Hard Work Boulevard] and the kind Simon [Sfarnell]. Thank you both~

♦ Thank the person who nominated you.

Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day).

♦ Nominate three new bloggers each day.

♦ The second quote

“Never,” I assure her. “I’ll never leave you.”
Never will I concede to death when she’s in my grasp. This beautiful creature is my match. She’s burrowed her way into my heart, and into my soul. Finding out she was mine, and was the one I’d been searching for in the Human world, was intoxicating. Watching her at my feet as she was given to me was the most exquisite feeling in the world.”
Amelia Hutchins, Escaping Destiny

Ι am not into erotica but this series just blew my mind! I had low expectations and I was proved wrong because it was insanely awesome.

[Loving Mr. Daniels]

I loved this book and feeling of hope that gave me. It was all about finding yourself and the power to go on with your life. Because no matter what happens, someone will stand by your side and help you fight.

[Book Related] ‘Would you rather’ book tag

book tag

Hello, I was kindly tagged by Raven [@dreamyaddictions] and [Bookwormaniac] for a ‘Would you rather’ challenged and here I am~

Thank you Raven!

Would you rather only read trilogies or only read standalones?
As much as I love trilogies sometimes they tire me, especially if the story is not that good. I need standalones for breaks. In general yes, I would rather read trilogies.

Would you rather only read male or female authors?
I prefer reading high fantasy books written by males because there is balance when it comes to romance and action. Some female authors tend to focus more in romance. If I want to read romance, I pick a book from that genre. In general I don’t really mind. If the author is talented, then it doesn’t matter.

Would you rather shop at Barnes and Noble or Amazon?
I guess Amazon because I trust is safe. I haven’t heard of Barnes and Noble.

Would you rather books were made into TV shows or movies?
A movie is not enough to cover the whole book. I prefer (decent) TV series or even better, a series of movies.

Would you rather read only 5 pages per day or 5 books per week?
Are you kidding me of course it would be 5 books per week.

Would you rather be a professional author or reviewer?
I don’t think I can handle critisism well. I am a bit overdramatic and if my work is not likeable or at least decent even to a few people I may be depressed. I can review but I don’t like to be on the other side so I guess reviewer it is.

Would you rather be a librarian or a bookseller?
Librarian. I love organizing stuff and especially books based on anything. That’s my dream job.

Would you rather read only your favorite genre, or every other genre but your favorite?
My favorite genre.

Would you rather only read ebooks or physical books?
I am a fan og physical books. If only they were cheap in Greece I would be the happiest person alive.
