thursday's book recommendation icon

It’s been years since the day I bought and read this book but I still remember how much I enjoyed reading it. This week I felt nostalgic and that’s why Angel is the book of the week’s recommenadtion. I haven’t written a review because back then all I wanted to do was read and rate and now it’s too late to write an honest review because I don’t remember helpfull details and there’s no way I’m reading it again. No time, too many new books to read.

So based on what I remember from back at that time, Angel is one of the best book in angel genre.

aboutthebook icon

Angels are all around us: beautiful, awe-inspiring, irresistible.

Ordinary mortals yearn to catch a glimpse of one of these stunning beings and thousands flock to The Church of Angels to feel their healing touch.
But what if their potent magnetism isn’t what it seems?
Willow knows she’s different from other girls. And not just because she loves tinkering around with cars.
Willow has a gift. She can look into people’s futures, know their dreams, their hopes and their regrets, just by touching them. But she has no idea where she gets this power from.

Until she meets Alex…
Alex is one of the few who know the truth about angels. He knows Willow’s secret and is on a mission to stop her.
The dark forces within Willow make her dangerous – and irresistible.
In spite of himself, Alex finds he is falling in love with his sworn enemy.

There’s also a new edition of the book but I am not sure about the differences in the story. The title is different and the blurb is about Alex instead of Willow. If you’ve read this version please contact me and let me know.

[Angel Burn]

aboutthebook icon

In a world where angels are beyond redemption, Alex thinks he’s found one that might deserve mercy.

Alex is a ruthless assassin—of angels. Forget everything you’ve heard about them before. Angels are not benign celestial creatures, but fierce stalkers whose irresistible force allows them to feed off humans, draining them of their vitality until there is barely anything left. As far as Alex is concerned, the only good angel is a dead angel… until he meets Willow.

She may look like a normal teenager but Willow is no ordinary girl. Half-angel, half-human, Willow may hold the key to defeating the evil angels. But as the hunter and the hunted embark on an epic and dangerous journey and Willow learns the dark and terrifying secrets of her past, Alex finds himself drawn to Willow… with devastating consequences.
